Religious belief is a powerful and dangerous thing; it can bring great joy and happiness to one person and destroy another just a easily.
The problem with religion is that it can be use by mankind to justify a point of view, with religious extremists on each side conflicts are bound to happen, our history is filled with example of this; even today in the 21st century we continue to kill in the name of religion, ironic isn’t it that something that is held up as example on how to live your life proceeds to take life.
Belief is an important thing to many and I agree that people have the right to have their beliefs, however this does not give people the right to kill others for it.
